The Board of Management at Rosses Community School oversees the school’s operations on behalf of the patron, ensuring that each student receives an appropriate education. The board is accountable to both the patron and the Minister for Education.
The principal handles the school’s day-to-day management and reports directly to the board. In their role, the board collaborates with teachers, parents, ancillary staff, and the wider community to foster an environment of mutual respect, integrity, sincerity, honesty, and tolerance.
The board’s responsibilities include upholding the school’s ethos, managing resources efficiently, and ensuring compliance with legal and educational standards. They also play a pivotal role in policy development, financial oversight, and promoting the welfare of both students and staff.
